Well, I'm striking back after a huge inactive period. Lot of things happend, so I'll start with my holliday trip to Italy. Great ten days in paradise, full of riding on bike, swiming in the sea and other activities. Roads and nature there were fantastic....around 150 km of riding daily....hills about 20 km long, but not so steep, so that was perfect training before the season start. Here are some pictures, just for your imagination.
Ufff, when I'm looking at these pics, wish to be there again.....
Another important thing is, that week ago me and my g-friend had finished work on reparing of our flat. So now we are at our own place, free and happy. We have our own kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom in big family house, which we are sharing with g-friends sister, her boyfriend and brother. Now I'm thinking about finding a new job somewhere near my place.....
And about my riding....here are few links, where you can find some racing pictures from our regional XC cups...lot of fun there....

Thats it for now....hope to be back soon....

So, as I promissed, here is the report from my final exams session @ the University. First part was on Friday, from Pedagogics and Psychology...so, slightly easy job...scored B. But than I catched some virus or so, and feel sick....nothing special for studying.... But Sunday was OK, learned all day, and on Monday was the final exam....score was B and C. Well now I'm off studying and sarted to train again....due to bad weather here in Czech, most of the training is on the bike trainer, which I hate, but there is no other way...on weekend I'll enjoy the hockey again and some cross-country skiing, which is not sooo boring.
And my dad gave me as an present brutal new road weapon....carbon fibred Bianchi bike on Campy Record groupset...uuuf...can't wait to take a ride on it.....
So, that's all for now...Peace, J
So, my mates, another entry after looong time, but seriously, nothing special new in my life. Now I took a week off the work, beause on 3th. and 6th. of February, I'll have my final exam @ University, so I've decided to take this week off, to have a time to study. So, hope, that all will be OK, and I'll start again in "normal" way of my life. Be back with report from exam, that's for sure.
And, because the Winter Olympics are getting closer and closer, here's the foto(esp. for you, my americzech brotha) from Athens, such as the nostalgic memory of one of the best days of my life.....
Peace, J
I'm back after hella busy month. Lot of things has happend. I'm on the half way to finish school, which is perfect. Other highlight was, that I spend a week at Madrid, where the World Championschips in road cycling took place. I was there like the Team Manager of the National Team. Hard work, but great experience, lot of new friends, meetings with old friends, nice weather, I saw Real Madrid at their own stadium playing.....I'm really not a football fan, but this was something SPECIAL. That stadium was HUGE!!!! Real wins the match 3:1, fans was going insane, and in the end David Backham showed us his tattos...cool.
And on the final day I had a pleasure to meet and talk to Alison Sydor, one of my favourite MTB riders....respect to her...
Oh, how can I forget....before the Time Trial race I met in the Team Boxes Devil himself....this man is cool, he's on every important race screaming and jumping.....
But the traveling was shit. Me and few guys were riding in the cars to Madrid and back, just like the technical support and a transport for material, bikes, etc.... 2300km and 20 hours of riding for one way...ufff. But I'm still alive. So now I'm back at work. Weather here is nothing special. No biking, but I will start my ice hockey season soon....can't wait.
Well, that's all for now....hope to be back sooon...
Peace, J
Here I'm with brief update after weekend "action" in Ostrava. It was day full of bike action. XC races, Dual Slalom, BMX Freestyle exhibition, which was highlight of the day, and my favorite Beer Sprint. Firstly about my XC race, we have to do 1 start loop and than 2 technical rounds. Conditions was not one of my favorites, wet treeroots, tricky downhill sections and lot of mud. But finished 5th, which is not bad at all. Most important is, that it was lot of fun. After finish, I cleaned myself, and together w/my friends started to enjoy other racing action, beer, etc....cool. Than came "race of the day" - Beer Sprint. About the rules: two guys with their bikes on the start line, and glass of beer. After gun, you have to drink your beer as fast as you can, and ride about 150 m. loop. First on the line stays in competition, second is out. I was out after two rounds, which was nothing special for overall standings, but OK for my stomach.
For your imagination, here are some pics of my friends, bike(300), and BMX action...
So that's about my day full of bikes, beer and fun.....
I'll have more pics from my racing action next week, so will publish them asap...
Peace J
Well, I'm back from France. Firstly about my XC race, nice course, and finish second, not bad. But lot of interresting things happend during our trip to Paris. Firstly one of our vans breaks down 400 km before Paris, so we had to left it in the service and rent another car. Than we arrived to hotel, and after few troubles with number of beds in rooms we finally fall to sleep. But after two days, we found in the morning both of our cars with broken windows, and thing which was left in them was stolen. So lot of problems with police atc. Nice survival... But on the other side, atmosfere in Bercy Hall was absolutelly fantastic, and finals of Elite men was one of the higlights. We had also night trip to Eiffel tower, cool.
And on Satrday I had my B-day, so bought a botlle of Smirnoff and lot of Red Bull, and there was a big party with my new friend, no sleeping at all, and in the mornig big headache....
So here are some pics from trip:
After my return to sweet home, another surprise waited for me.... tasty cake...yum yum....
This weekend, if weather'll be OK, I'm going with my friends to one XC race, and than to big party, so I'll see...
Peace, J
After my day off, I started with training again, but today only short and slow ride, starting to warming up before my weekend race, so nothing interesting. But great news for me came yesterday from my boss. I'll go next week with our BMX National Team to Paris to watch World Champs, so hoping for having a goood time there... Can't wait...I'll take my camera with me, so who knows...
Peace, J
